Wow. This theme was harder than I thought it would be.
You know how the joke every year during the March for Life is that it must be half a million ninjas gathered and sneaking past the notice of the mainstream media? Yeah. Give me a chance to go to the march, and I’d stomp my loud, clumsy way so gracelessly that someone would be sure to notice.
(p.s., thank you to everyone who marched yesterday. I hope you’ve since thawed out.)
These anti-stealth skills did not serve me well this morning as I tried to catch my people unaware. I must have ninjaed around the house, taking a dozen or so pictures, and this was the best I could come up with.
Partners in crime John-Luke and Veronica help themselves to an unauthorized early morning snack of crackers. They don’t even bother to pretend to be sorry when caught red-handed. At least they were eating them at the table, I guess.
Your turn. Let’s see your ninja-skillz in action. But first! While I have your attention, I’d like to shamelessly promote the Embroidery Along to Benefit Quilts of Valor. You can read all about it, as well as sign up, here. Our project has attracted the attention of the organization’s executive director, and she’s contacted me about doing a story on our group’s efforts for one of their upcoming newsletters. You know how I love a good story, and this one’s shaping up to be just that. Sign up closes on Tuesday, so come jump on in.
As always, I can’t wait to see what you all come up with.
